Frequently Asked Questions 🤔

Find quick answers to common questions about MBI, subscriptions, data security, and training.

General & Pricing

What is MBI and how is it different from other BI tools?

MBI stands for **Modern Business Insights**. Our focus is on providing a lightweight, fast, and highly **intuitive** data visualization platform specifically designed to empower users. We prioritize ease-of-use and low latency over complex, enterprise-level feature bloat.

How does the free trial work?

Our free trial lasts **14 days** and gives you full access to all Professional tier features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the 14 days, your account will be downgraded to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe. All your created dashboards will remain saved.

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime directly from your **Dashboard Settings**. Cancellations are effective at the end of your current billing period (monthly or annually). We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. ---

Data & Security

Does Panda Logica store my raw business data?

**No.** We never store your raw business data. When you connect MBI to your database (like SQL or MongoDB), we only access the data to generate your visualization in real-time. Your data stays securely hosted within your own infrastructure or cloud service. We only store the **metadata** (connection strings, table names, field types) necessary to run the dashboards.

What security protocols do you use for connections?

All data connections are encrypted using **SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption**. For cloud connections (AWS, Azure), we recommend using dedicated service accounts or IAM roles with minimal read-only permissions to further enhance security. ---

Technical & Training

What data sources can MBI connect to?

MBI supports a wide range of connections, including: **PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Google Sheets, Amazon S3, CSV/Excel files**, and several popular CRM APIs (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) via our custom connector.

Where can I find tutorials and advanced documentation?

All our learning resources are centralized in the **Training Hub**. You can access self-paced courses, video tutorials, and technical documentation by visiting the Training Hub page. ---
